Update: I lasted 6 whole months using the default theme, but I couldn’t stand to look at it anymore. I found another theme called McLuhan that is just as sparse on features but happens to look great.
I run multiple blogs for various side projects but haven’t had one for personal use in over in a decade.
It always felt like a Sisyphean effort to design and develop a site that I loved (for more than a month at a time), so this year I’m saying fuck it, and have decided to keep it simple and use the default WordPress twentytwentythree theme.
It kind of kills me on the inside, but at the same time, it’s kind of freeing.
I’m looking forward to dumping some thoughts here related to design, contracting, life, and the trials and tribulations of running multiple side projects.
My new little archive. Nice.
